The Town of Orland was incorporated in 1800, formerly known as "Plantation #2" on the east side of the Penobscot River.
As of the year 2020, the population was 2,221 people.
Dog Registrations: Reminder that 2025 dog licenses are due by 1/31/2025 in order to avoid the automatic late fee of $25.00. We will need proof of rabies when you come in as we got a new database and all of last years records were lost. For a spayed/neutered dog the cost is $6.00 each and for a non-neutered/spayed dog it is $11.00 each.
