Orland Luminary Ceremony: Brighten up Orland’s shortest days with a little candle and community cheer on Saturday December 20th. Put a luminary in your yard, in front of your house, or help others place luminaries throughout the Village and along Castine Road starting at 2:15pm on Saturday December 20th at the Old Fire Station located at 91 School House Road Orland. Dress warmly, wear bright visible clothing and bring seasonal/solstice cheer. Snacks afterwards at a location to be determined. The Best Remembered Bicentennial Books are back at the Orland Town Office and the Orland Historical Society!! There have been many requests for the books to be re-publsihed and sold once again at the Town Office and Historical Society. They are $15.00 per book while supplies last so come on down and pick up your copy!!
