A free class, IDENTIFYING FRAUDS AND SCAMS will be held  THURSDAY, NOV. 21, 2024,  from 10:00 to 11:00 am,  at the Orland Community Center, 21 Schoolhouse Road, Orland.  This course is sponsored by the Orland Broadband Committee, the National Digital Equity Center (NDEC) and Island Institute. During this 1-hour course you will learn about the different types of internet fraud and scams, the dos and don’ts of protecting yourself online and what to do if you have experienced online fraud or abuse.
