Orland Luminary Ceremony: Brighten up Orland’s shortest days with a little candle and community cheer on Saturday December 20th. Put a luminary in your yard, in front of your house, or help others place luminaries throughout the Village and along Castine Road starting at 2:15pm on Saturday December 20th at the Old Fire Station located at 91 School House Road Orland. Dress warmly, wear bright visible clothing and bring seasonal/solstice cheer. Snacks afterwards at a location to be determined. Basic Internet Safety 1/29/2025

A free class, BASIC INTERNET SAFETY, will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 10:00–11:00 AM, at the Orland Community Center, 21 Schoolhouse Road, Orland, sponsored by the Orland Broadband Committee, the National Digital Equity Center (NDEC) and Island Institute. Staying safe online is essential in today’s world. This one-hour overview class teaches you how to keep your information and your devices safe.
