Orland Luminary Ceremony: Brighten up Orland’s shortest days with a little candle and community cheer on Saturday December 20th. Put a luminary in your yard, in front of your house, or help others place luminaries throughout the Village and along Castine Road starting at 2:15pm on Saturday December 20th at the Old Fire Station located at 91 School House Road Orland. Dress warmly, wear bright visible clothing and bring seasonal/solstice cheer. Snacks afterwards at a location to be determined. Starting today the hours of the Selectmen’s meetings held on the first and the third Thursday of each month will now be from 5:30p.m.-7:00p.m. The Town Office will remain open for buisness from 1:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. on the first and third Thursday of each month to conduct business during the meeting.
