Orland Luminary Ceremony: Brighten up Orland’s shortest days with a little candle and community cheer on Saturday December 20th. Put a luminary in your yard, in front of your house, or help others place luminaries throughout the Village and along Castine Road starting at 2:15pm on Saturday December 20th at the Old Fire Station located at 91 School House Road Orland. Dress warmly, wear bright visible clothing and bring seasonal/solstice cheer. Snacks afterwards at a location to be determined. Nomination Papers Available

The Town of Orland has nomination papers available for the following positions:

               

  • Selectman and Overseer of the Poor (1)          3 years        
  • Assessor (1)                                                      3 years
  • RSU #25 Board Member (1)                             3 years
  • Road Commissioner (1)                                    3 years
  • Fish Committee Member (2)                            4 years

 

 

Nomination papers are available at the Orland Town Office starting March 4th,2025, and can be picked up Tuesday-Friday 8am-12pm & 1pm-5pm; 1st and 3rd Thursday evening of each month 5:30pm-7pm. Completed papers must be returned to the Town Office by 5pm on April 11, 2024.
