Orland Luminary Ceremony: Brighten up Orland’s shortest days with a little candle and community cheer on Saturday December 20th. Put a luminary in your yard, in front of your house, or help others place luminaries throughout the Village and along Castine Road starting at 2:15pm on Saturday December 20th at the Old Fire Station located at 91 School House Road Orland. Dress warmly, wear bright visible clothing and bring seasonal/solstice cheer. Snacks afterwards at a location to be determined. Orland River Day is doing a Duck Dash! The event will be held on September 13th on teh Narramissic River at 12:30. Ducks are $2 bucks each or 3 ducks for $5. The first duck to cross the finish line wins a commerative t-shirt and mystery prize package! The ducks can be purchased at the Orland Town Office during business hours or at the Orland River Day Booth on September 13th!
