Orland Luminary Ceremony: Brighten up Orland’s shortest days with a little candle and community cheer on Saturday December 20th. Put a luminary in your yard, in front of your house, or help others place luminaries throughout the Village and along Castine Road starting at 2:15pm on Saturday December 20th at the Old Fire Station located at 91 School House Road Orland. Dress warmly, wear bright visible clothing and bring seasonal/solstice cheer. Snacks afterwards at a location to be determined. Don’t forget that a Duck Dash Race will be held along Narramissic River this year at 12:30 for Orland River Day! There are still ducks for sale which can be purchased at the Orland Town Office during business hours. Remaining ducks will be sold at Orland River Day until 12:00 at the River Day booth.
