Orland Luminary Ceremony: Brighten up Orland’s shortest days with a little candle and community cheer on Saturday December 20th. Put a luminary in your yard, in front of your house, or help others place luminaries throughout the Village and along Castine Road starting at 2:15pm on Saturday December 20th at the Old Fire Station located at 91 School House Road Orland. Dress warmly, wear bright visible clothing and bring seasonal/solstice cheer. Snacks afterwards at a location to be determined. Tomorrow’s the DAY! Orland River Day Events will be going on from 9-4 along Narramissic Drive, including bands, a touch tank, 50+ craft vendors, food trucks, a duck dash and MORE! Don’t forget at the Orland Community and Fitness Center there will be a car show and Orland Variety will be open all day serving sandwiches, pizza, doughnuts and cider!
