Orland Luminary Ceremony: Brighten up Orland’s shortest days with a little candle and community cheer on Saturday December 20th. Put a luminary in your yard, in front of your house, or help others place luminaries throughout the Village and along Castine Road starting at 2:15pm on Saturday December 20th at the Old Fire Station located at 91 School House Road Orland. Dress warmly, wear bright visible clothing and bring seasonal/solstice cheer. Snacks afterwards at a location to be determined. The Narramissic Watershed Coalition, comprising the Towns of Blue Hill, Orland, Penobscot and Surry and two lake associations (Alamoosook Lake Association and Toddy Pond Association) will host a remote information session for members of the public who were not able to join the in-person sessions held in each of the four towns earlier this month on September 23rd at 6 PM
