Orland Luminary Ceremony: Brighten up Orland’s shortest days with a little candle and community cheer on Saturday December 20th. Put a luminary in your yard, in front of your house, or help others place luminaries throughout the Village and along Castine Road starting at 2:15pm on Saturday December 20th at the Old Fire Station located at 91 School House Road Orland. Dress warmly, wear bright visible clothing and bring seasonal/solstice cheer. Snacks afterwards at a location to be determined. 2026 Dog Licenses will be available October 15, 2025! All dogs over 6 months must be registered with the Town each year. Dog Licenses are $6 for spayed/neutered dogs, $11 for unaltered dogs. We will just need to see proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination. Per State law dog’s not registered by January 31st, 2026 will incur a mandatory $25 late fee.
