Orland Luminary Ceremony: Brighten up Orland’s shortest days with a little candle and community cheer on Saturday December 20th. Put a luminary in your yard, in front of your house, or help others place luminaries throughout the Village and along Castine Road starting at 2:15pm on Saturday December 20th at the Old Fire Station located at 91 School House Road Orland. Dress warmly, wear bright visible clothing and bring seasonal/solstice cheer. Snacks afterwards at a location to be determined. The Selectmen for the Town of Orland will be having a work session on 10/14/2025 at 9:00 am at the Orland Fire Station, located at 14 Fire House Avenue Orland Maine 04472. This work session will be to go over the employee handbook and the community center conduct policy.
