Orland Luminary Ceremony: Brighten up Orland’s shortest days with a little candle and community cheer on Saturday December 20th. Put a luminary in your yard, in front of your house, or help others place luminaries throughout the Village and along Castine Road starting at 2:15pm on Saturday December 20th at the Old Fire Station located at 91 School House Road Orland. Dress warmly, wear bright visible clothing and bring seasonal/solstice cheer. Snacks afterwards at a location to be determined. The selectmen will be meeting on 10/30/2025 at 9:00am at the Orland Town Office, located at25 School House Road. This will be a work session which will go into an executive session regarding candidates for the potential Toddy Pond and Alamoosook Lake boards.
