Free Digital Skills Classes for Mainers

 

The National Digital Equity Center (NDEC) is now offering a wide range of digital skills classes in an interactive, live Zoom format that are FREE for Maine residents.  This new learning platform can be found at https://learn.digitalequitycenter.org/course-category/maine-digital-opportunity-program/.   Each is held once a month and scheduled on multiple days and times.  A learner creates a free account when they enroll in their first class.  After logging in, clicking on “My Classes” page will lead them to all the classes they have registered for, the class zoom link, and any links to PDF materials for the class. Thanks to funding from the Maine Connectivity Authority, sixteen of these classes are available free to Maine residents through June 30, 2026. An additional twenty‑one NDEC digital skills classes remain available for a fee to all participants.
