Orland Luminary Ceremony: Brighten up Orland’s shortest days with a little candle and community cheer on Saturday December 20th. Put a luminary in your yard, in front of your house, or help others place luminaries throughout the Village and along Castine Road starting at 2:15pm on Saturday December 20th at the Old Fire Station located at 91 School House Road Orland. Dress warmly, wear bright visible clothing and bring seasonal/solstice cheer. Snacks afterwards at a location to be determined. The Orland Fire Department Committee will host an informal informational meeting regarding the proposal of a new Fire Station on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 6pm, at the Orland Community Center, 21 School House Road, Orland, ME 04472.
