The engineering evaluation and feasibility study of the fishway and dam is underway! The steering committee has been meeting monthly with the engineering firm, Verdantas, and our project manager from the Downeast Salmon Federation, since winter.

On Wednesday, June 17, from 6:30-8:00 pm, in the Community Center, Room 19, the steering committee will be looking for your input into the project. We will discuss the current states of the fishway and dam, and get a look at potential technical options for rehabilitation or restoration, along with preliminary cost ranges. Come join us for the presentations and question and answer periods!
