Transfer Station Fee Changes

EFEECTIVE AUGUST 1^st, 2026

 

 

• No commercial haulers, contractor vehicles, or trash from businesses allowed.
• Household waste in bags for compactor: no fee
• Demo (bins 3, 5, and 6): $5.00 minimum for an arm load up to $40.00 per load depending on size and density
• Mattresses, boxsprings, furniture: $10.00 each
• Metal (bin 4): $5.00 minimum for an arm load up to $30.00 per load depending on size and density
• Washers, dryers, and stoves: $10.00 each
• Refrigeration appliances: $20.00 each
• Tires (bin 7): limit of 4 per resident per week passenger cars and pickups only $2.00 each must be separate from rims
• TVs/Monitors: $3.00 each
• PCs/Laptops: $2.00 each
• Fluorescent tubes: $0.50 per foot
• CFLs and similar: $0.50 each
• Cell phones, thermostats and smoke detectors: $1.00 each
• Asphalt shingles: $15.00 to $30.00 limit 2 loads per household
