Orland Community Workshop, 5/11, 10:30a-12:30p

The Orland Community Resilience Committee is hosting a Community Workshop on May 11, 2024, from 10:30a-12:30p, at the Orland Community Center, located at 21 School House Road, Orland, ME 04472, to hear from neighbors and friends to find ways to improve climate resilience, improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Please join us as we identify risks to the community, resources to mitigate and adjust to climate change, and ways to protect our natural resources and community infrastructure. This workshop is one step in helping the Town of Orland enroll in Maine’s Community Resilience Partnership program. When Orland is enrolled, the town will become eligible for Community Action Grant funding from the Governor’s Office of Policy Innovation and the Future. Enrollment will qualify Orland for other grants, too.
