Cutting the Cord Class

A free class, CUTTING the CORD, will be held THURSDAY, MARCH 13TH, from 1:00 – 2:00  pm,  at the Orland Community Center, 21 Schoolhouse Road, Orland.  This course is sponsored by the Orland Broadband Committee and the National Digital Equity Center (NDEC). What does “Cut the Cord” mean? It’s about canceling cable or satellite services and being able to watch television shows online, as well as options that would allow you to get rid of your landline. This class will not only show you the wide variety of options  out there, but also teach you some tools to decide if cutting the cord is right for you.
